"My philosophy behind teaching is that all students are capable of success given the right tools and understanding of the learning process. I am fascinated by the neuroscience behind learning and learning disabilities. I believe that it is crucial for students to have a fundamental understanding of how their brain learns to best understand how to tackle complex cognitive problems. In all of my years teaching I have never met a student who is unable to learn, but I have met many who believe that they will never understand how to. It is my passion to help each one of my students build a greater understanding of how he/she learns so the learning process becomes natural and enjoyable." - Kim
